Job Description

Jasco is looking for a Trade show/Events Specialist that will assist the Coordinator with production of JASCO trade/customer shows, guest and internal meetings, company events and the Jasco Store. As well as: Trade and Customer Shows Works with coordinator to establish communication with event staff and completion of contracts and forms. Works with booth and show representatives as needed on booth updates. Assists with show logistics to include obtaining required product, displays, signage, literature and other miscellaneous materials, and makes to and from shipping arrangements. Makes travel and hotel arrangements along with money and attire needs for all attendees to meet pre, show, and post show needs. Travels to relevant shows and assists with set up and teardown of booths/displays. Assist with maintenance of the master trade show/event calendar and helps track expenses for each. Sales, External Guest, Training and Team/Company Events Works with relevant teams to determine needs for food, meeting look and required materials. Determines catering choice, quantity and special needs. Coordinates delivery and setup of event area, light food preparation and serving. Team Member Store and Miscellaneous Assist with maintaining inventory and overall look for the Jasco store. Assists with sourcing and mailing of company Christmas cards, trade show/event invitations, direct mail and promotional materials and compiles company mailing lists for each. Assist other areas of marketing as needed. Performs other related duties as required. Jasco designs, develops and distributes light fixtures, lighting controls, power products and consumer electronic accessories. For more information, please go to Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of one year experience in trade show or meeting coordination. A minimum of two years in Microsoft Office Software with an intermediate to advanced skill level on Excel software is required. Team Member must have the ability to transport self to obtain various materials, food, etc. Be able to attend various functions and meetings at other sites either within or outside of the organization. Team Member must be able to carry boxes of product, samples, booth materials, etc., weighing up to 40 pounds up and down stairs and/or flat surfaces.
