Job Title: Construction Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Site Safety and Health Officer to oversee and enforce safety regulations on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement site-specific safety programs and procedures.
• Conduct daily safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, EM 385-1-1 standards, and company safety policies .
• Lead safety training sessions for employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents and incidents , prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate safety records , including inspection reports and training documentation.
• Monitor proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) .
• Attend pre-construction meetings and safety briefings.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to promote a culture of safety .
• Ensure subcontractors adhere to safety requirements and remove personnel who pose a safety risk.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction site safety management.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional
