The Greater Topeka Partnership Is seeking visionary, results-driven leader with a passion for economic growth and community to serve as the President of GO Topeka & SVP of Economic Development. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and relationship builder with proven success in business attraction, financial management, and market analysis. The President of President of GO Topeka & SVP of Economic Development will be an integral part of our leadership team. Minimum salary of $130,000 (negotiable based on experience), excellent benefits package and flexible work schedule. Major duties include: Join the team that is moving Topeka forward and creating Momentum! Drive Economic Growth: Lead GO Topeka’s strategic plan for business attraction, retention, entrepreneurship, workforce, and small business development. Provide Visionary Leadership: Guide GO Topeka’s programs, budget, and Board relations while serving on the Partnership’s Executive Leadership Team. Build Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with local, regional, and state organizations while fostering relationships with companies, site selectors, and investors. Promote Topeka Nationally & Globally: Represent the community at events, oversee marketing strategies, and showcase Topeka as a premier location for business and investment. A strong candidate will possess: Bachelor’s degree (preferred in business/marketing) with 5+ years in economic development or related fields. Strong background in business attraction/retention, planning, financial management, and market analysis; CEcD credential preferred. Proven sales results, data analysis/reporting, exceptional communication, and ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
