Chaplain at Providence Milwaukie Hospital – On‑call, Variable Schedule The chaplain will provide professional and competent spiritual care ministry, supporting the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of patients, families, and staff in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. The role includes on‑call duties, a variable schedule, and travel to support Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. Key Responsibilities Deliver spiritual support and counseling to patients, families, and staff across all care settings. Collaborate with the healthcare team to incorporate spiritual care into patient care plans. Implement the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services. Attend interdisciplinary meetings, rounds, and community outreach events as required. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry, or a related field accepted by chaplaincy certifying organizations; or equivalent education and experience. Completion of coursework or training and four clinical pastoral education units. National Chaplain Certification within three years of hire.
