Astria Health is seeking a Nurse Technician to join our team! This position is at our Sunnyside Hospital with variable shifts. What you get to do every day! As the Nurse Technician you will be responsible for providing quality and compassionate direct care and education to patients and their families. Tasks invovling dirtect patient care will be under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
You will:
- Perform direct patient care procedures and related tasks, within licensure, as per policy.
- Provide patient education on health issues related to healthcare within established parameters.
- Assists registered nurses and other staff in caring for patients.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
- Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.
Requirements - Enrolled in Nursing education program and able to participate in the Nurse Technician program per Washington State regulations
- Current Nurse Technician License with the state of Washington
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Oral and written fluency in the English language

Summary Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
