About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing and Communications to spearhead the strategic and integrated marketing approach that is essential for the growth and success of its educational programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive communications, marketing, and branding strategy to enhance the organization's mission. This role involves managing all marketing and communications efforts, including the creation of marketing materials, general communications, recruitment, and brand development. The VP will also lead a team of marketing professionals, serve on the Senior Leadership Team, and collaborate with staff to support and implement marketing plans that drive growth and engage constituents. Applicants for the Vice President position must have a minimum of 8 years' marketing and communications experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a nonprofit setting. The role requires a candidate with a strong executive presence, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to make sound judgments under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record in integrated communications planning, advertising, marketing research, and public relations. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. The VP should be proficient in current marketing and communication platforms, have excellent writing skills, and be adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
