Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:

\n\n

• Perform vascular studies and procedures including angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, stents, and peripherals
• Conduct neurological procedures including stroke intervention and body work
• Execute all interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, drainages, upper and lower extremity studies
• Perform abdominal and pelvic imaging, genitourinary studies, and venous access procedures
• Operate Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT certification
• Utilize PACS system and contrast agents for imaging procedures
• Document procedures using Epic charting system
• Work 4x10 day shifts with primary and backup call rotations
• Participate in weekend and evening/night on-call coverage
• Handle daily caseload of 13-17 procedures
• Provide care for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patient populations
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Attend mandatory hospital orientation during first week
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
• Maintain availability Monday through Friday during orientation week
• Complete compliance documentation and lab testing within 48 hours of assignment
• Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week

Job Requirements:

\n\n

\n\t
• Active, unencumbered license in NC
\n\t
• Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
\n\t
• Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
\n\t
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
\n

\n\n

• Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
\n\t
• Two current clinical references
\n\t
• State-required professional license
\n\t
• Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
\n\t
• TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
\n\t
• Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
\n\t
• Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
\n\t
• Must pass background check and drug screening
\n
