Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, performs specific tasks including organization of the stockroom area, maintenance parts ordering and stocking processes, and other duties to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality within the job.


What You'll Do:

• Organization of stockroom including all parts storage and documentation information.
• Interaction with maintenance and purchasing personnel involved in maintenance stock ordering and inventories.
• Performing regular inventories of stock as directed by procedure and supervision and ensuring security of stockroom.
• Pick up specific orders with company vehicles as needed.
• Performing trips to and from outside contractor's locations during maintenance procedures as needed.
• General assistance to maintenance personnel as needed within maximum level of knowledge and training.
• Approval and assurance of quality and quantity of incoming materials.
• Perform tasks on the computer system as job requires
• Perform all directed written or verbal procedures as directed by supervision or job requirements to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality at all times.

What We Need From You:

• Minimum of completion of the tenth (10) grade, high school.

• Must possess the ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Must have the ability to move freely from one area to another within the department, conform to physical requirements of the job, including the ability to lift fifty pounds periodically, stand, walk, and bend.
• Must be trained in hazard recognition, PPE requirement and use lockout/tagout, confined space procedures, and any other safety requirements for employment at Grede - Browntown.
