Tax Partners Northwest LLC is hiring experienced tax professionals to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who can prepare and review complex personal and entity returns.

Tax Professional skills

• In-depth knowledge of applicable tax laws, regulations and deadlines
• Proficiency with common tax preparation, word processing, spreadsheets and accounting software applications
• Familiarity with the tax return submission and confirmation process, including how to navigate the IRS and other government entity online platforms
• Excellent customer service skills, including patience and flexibility
• Great organizational skills, including time management and strategic thinking
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Enrolled Agent or CPA preferred. Experience in tax preparation required. Experience preparing business returns preferred.

Tax Professional responsibilities and duties

• Review financial records and tax documents to complete personal and business tax returns
• Advise clients in the tax preparation process, conduct a complete interview to obtain necessary information and prepare an accurate tax return
• Answer client questions and provide tax planning
• Take incoming calls from clients to answer tax questions, set up tax preparation appointments, and manage client status and communications through our portal.
• Ensure the confidentiality of each client by following company procedures regarding information handling
• Review completed returns for accuracy
• Assist in growing the business by providing information about our services
• Attend to the needs of clients to inspire them to refer the service and come back the following year

Position is full time during tax season.
