Position : Senior Tax Accountant
Location : King of Prussia, PA(On-site)
Duration : Full time & Direct Hire

Job description:

• The candidate must have at least 5 years of public accounting experience, must have experience in tax preparation, individual, corporate and partnerships.
• This is an in-person position at my offices in King of Prussia PA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and records
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information
• Assist clients in tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5, maximum of 10 years of tax and accounting experience
• CPA certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to expand skills and adaptability to change
• Ability to work well independently and part as a team
• Strong communication skills with clients and team members
• Experience in Lacerte Software a plus

Position Details:

• Salary : Competitive and commensurate with experience, with consideration for EA or CPA credentials . Compensation will fall within the higher end of the Philadelphia market range.

• Work Hours : Standard hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. During tax season, we require approximately 55 hours per week, including Saturdays. From May 1 to September 30, we offer reduced summer hours (7.5 hours/day, Monday through Thursday) with no reduction in salary.

• Work Environment : This is an in-office position. However, we are flexible and can accommodate specific needs as necessary.

• Relocation : Non-local candidates are welcome to apply. Relocation assistance is negotiable.

• Current Openings : We recently filled a position for a professional with 5–7 years of experience and are now seeking:

  • Another accountant with 5–7 years of experience

  • An accountant with 12–15 years of experience

• Target Start Date : We aim to have both roles filled by September 30, 2025 .

• Requirements :

  • Must have public accounting experience

  • Strong tax background required (individual and business tax)

  • Preference for candidates with a stable employment history (3–4+ years at previous employers)

• Interview Process : Typically 1–2 rounds. Our most recent hire received an offer on the spot.
