JOB DESCRIPTION: The Senior PPC Specialist will own the strategy, execution, and performance of Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns for a portfolio of clients. You’ll be responsible not only for hitting performance targets but for steering the larger digital strategy and identifying opportunities for growth. As a senior team member, you’ll serve as a trusted expert both internally and externally, mentoring junior team members, managing relationships with external contractors, and proactively guiding client marketing strategy with a high degree of independence. You’ll need to be equally comfortable in the weeds of campaign structure and in strategic conversations with clients and internal stakeholders. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and is eager to lead both client conversations and internal initiatives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Senior PPC Specialist will be expected to know the ins and outs of PPC and Social Ads campaigns and how to best execute them as the primary PPC strategist for assigned accounts. Lead Strategy & Execution: Build and lead advanced PPC strategies that drive measurable results. Develop frameworks for scaling client success and continuously test and refine performance levers. Client Ownership & Strategic Guidance: Serve as the strategic lead for client accounts. Lead calls, provide proactive recommendations, and challenge client assumptions when needed to align with marketing best practices. Client Escalation Management: Take ownership of PPC-related client escalations. Investigate issues thoroughly, provide clear communication internally and externally, and implement resolutions quickly to regain client confidence and ensure retention. Mentorship & Cross-Team Leadership: Support onboarding, coaching, and guidance of junior PPC specialists or contractors. Provide input on internal SOPs and quality control for PPC execution. High-Level Campaign Management: Oversee complex campaign structures and multiple service types, with a deep understanding of lead generation flows and conversion behavior. Landing Page Direction: Proactively identify opportunities for conversion rate optimization and collaborate with Web and Design teams on landing page strategies. Data Analysis & Forecasting: Lead performance reviews and identify key insights to inform both tactical and long-term strategy. Develop forecasts and projections for new and scaling accounts. Ad Copywriting & Content Strategy: Create compelling ad copy aligned with the client’s unique value proposition, ensuring consistency with landing page messaging and performance goals. Advanced Tooling Knowledge: Confidently use tools such as Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and third-party platforms (e.g., CallRail, GoHighLevel) to manage and validate conversions. Internal Collaboration: Act as the PPC voice in cross-functional initiatives. Partner closely with Client Success Managers, Web Developers and SEO team members to ensure campaign alignment.
