Overview BBJ Group is a growing environmental consulting and engineering firm seeking a senior level environmental consultant for BBJ Group’s Chicago Branch. Primary responsibilities include serving clients with various environmental engineering and consulting needs and fostering new business opportunities while continuing client relationships. This role offers numerous opportunities and responsibilities for a detail-oriented environmental professional. Responsibilities Project, staff, and budget management; Mentoring junior project managers and staff consultants to effectively lead projects from technical and project management perspectives; Working with clients in a wide variety of industries, including well-known global companies; Domestic and international project locations. Senior-level consultants will specialize in Remediation, EHS/Regulatory Compliance, or Real Estate Transaction Support Practices: Site Investigations/Closures; Compliance Audits; Risk Assessments; Due Diligence - Environmental Site Assessments, Limited Environmental Compliance Reviews; Storm water pollution prevention and management; Spill prevention and regulatory compliance; Remedial system design and implementation; and Environmental, Health, and Safety audits.
