As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a major distribution center in the retail sector, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity to help to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to log information and respond to alarm panels as needed, all while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous presence.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Communicate security-related concerns and/or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation and/or lockdown procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and offering directions or information as needed.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
