Duties You will provide anti-tamper, software assurance, hardware assurance, systems security engineering, lifecycle sustainment, and cybersecurity vulnerability management protections, and intelligence support. You will provide program protection expertise and develop and implement policies, program plans and procedures to address program protection for systems throughout the CPS portfolio. You will provide program protection expertise to address varying from local administration to shipbuilding to warfare systems, ensuring compliance with the overarching Navy and DoD policies. You will serve as a senior adviser, to provide authoritative guidance or advice to senior level managers and other staff experts concerning unusual or critical problems that often impact the work of other or other significant programs. You will be responsible for budget plans for many varied/diverse features of assigned program areas. You will take into account the costs/risks associated with operations of extremely complicated services, equipment, software, or unique components. You will be required to represent the organization, as an analytical expert, within and outside the Command, and to resolve different and entrenched viewpoints. You will manage and administer CPS systems and equipment, directly impacting mission readiness and critical system components. You will initiate program protection iteratively throughout life-cycle, resources program protection efforts, integrate program protection/system security into systems engineering systems, considers international acquisition and exportability. You will incorporate program protection sufficiently into solicitations and contracts, collaborates with security engineering and security specialists to assess vulnerabilities, and identify protection measures. You will represent the organization, as an analytical expert, within and outside the Command, and to resolve different and entrenched viewpoints. You will maintain expertise for cutting-edge administrative technology through continuing education, training, symposiums, and technical liaison with other organizations. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance. This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA). Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
