Schedule: Full Time Shift : Monday Friday, 8am - 5pm Location: 25 South Terry Avenue, Suite 310A, Orlando, FL 32805 / occasional travel to Winter Park or South Orlando office for meetings The role youll contribute: The Clinical Supervisor, under limited supervision, is responsible for providing hands-on clinical care to patients as well as training, directing, and guiding back-office staff in monitoring and expediting workflow. This position helps in ensuring the back-office operations of the office function smoothly and that staff are adhering to clinical policies and procedures. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodates services for the physicians and the practice, following established standard, practices, policies, and procedures. The value youll bring to the team: Serves as the leader for Medical Assistants and/or other staff as required; May not Supervise LPNs or RNs. Serves as effective mentor and educational resource to staff Participates in interviewing applicants, conducting employee discipline and attends required supervisor training per AHMG leadership requirements Responsible for PSQA/Care Gap Closure Scores Responsible for ensuring clinical employees licensure and certification and office licensure is up to date The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: ~ Minimum qualifications : ~ High school diploma or equivalent ~2 years of medical office experience ~ Graduate of a medical assistant program, BMO program, RT program, or other related field ~ Must be currently certified and maintain certification by one of the following: # American Association of Medical Assistants (“AAMA”) for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) # American Medical Certification Association (“AMCA”) for Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) # American Medical Technologists (“AMT”) for Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) # National Association for Health Professionals (“NAHP”) for Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) # National Center for Competency Testing (“NCCT”) for National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) # National Healthcareer Association (NHA) for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Current, valid CPR certification is required Able to communicate in English This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
