WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Surgical Technologist for a local contract job in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Great Barrington, MA.

Job Function:

\n

• Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures
\n
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy
\n
• Prepare patients for surgery as requested
\n
• Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed
\n
• Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques
\n
• Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation
\n
• Take inventory and order surgical supplies as needed  
\n

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program  
\n
• Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
\n
• BLS preferred (American Heart Association)
\n
• 6-12 months experience as a Surgical Technologist
\n
