Job Description & RequirementsWCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in the Psychiatric unit at a recovery center located in Westfield, PA.
Job Function:
\n \nPrepare and administer prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or through an IV, and document accordingly.
\nReport adverse reactions to medications or treatments, following policies and procedures for medication administration.
\nRecord patients’ medical information and vital signs.
\nMonitor and adjust specialized medical equipment and interpret and document electronic displays.
\nInitiate corrective action as needed to ensure patient safety and care.
\nJob Requirements:
\n1 year of current Psychiatric or Behavioral Health RN experience is required.
\nActive RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
\nBLS certification required.
\nCPI certification preferred.
\nFamiliarity with HCS charting system is a plus.
