Job Description

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining efficient and high-quality laundry operations, ensuring all linens and guest items are clean, organized, and readily available. This role directly impacts guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the overall appearance and hygiene of the property. How You’ll Shape The Experience & Future Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to established procedures. Load articles into washers with the correct amount of detergent or cleaning agent and start washing cycles. Transfer washed items to dryers or wringers and ensure proper drying times. Sort, fold, and organize laundry items according to type or identification number. Iron table linens and other designated items to maintain high presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of laundry equipment, lubricating and servicing machines as needed. Take initiative to greet guests warmly and professionally when encountered. Perform other duties as assigned to support laundry and housekeeping operations.

Professional Experience Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping operations is a plus but not required. Familiarity with operating washers, dryers, and ironing equipment is beneficial.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. On-the-job training provided to ensure proper handling of equipment and linens.
