INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE POSITION

Monday - Thursday

5:00 am - 1:30 pm

Pay - DOE

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operates all maintenance related equipment
• Troubleshoots typical problems on equipment and machinery as required
• Maintains work areas, e.g. cleans-up, keeps materials, tools, equipment, and machinery in clean and safe working condition
• Guides and instructs lower-level maintenance employees
• Works overtime scheduled or unscheduled as required
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance operations as specified
• Maintains routine maintenance records
• Practices and follows all required safety regulations
• Performs all duties as assigned by supervision
• Is available to work any shift as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to perform routine and complex maintenance services with a journeyman’s or technicians’ proficiency in the following areas:
  • Electrical power and control
  • Hydraulics/pneumatics
  • Mechanical maintenance
  • Plumbing and pipe fitting
  • HVAC systems
  • Carpentry
• Must have the ability to read, understand, and apply information from maintenance manuals: to read and understand drawings and schematics
• Must be able to communicate with and coordinate with area supervision and be willing to work in all areas of plant operations as needed
• Must be able to work in extreme heat associates with dryer and kilns
• Must be able to work outdoors
• Must be able to walk long distances, climb stairs and ladders and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Must have working knowledge of metal fabrication to include welding, cutting, and blazing operation
• Must have ability to operate milling and lathe machinery
• Robotic experience preferred
