Job Summary

As an Order Fulfillment Specialist, you will engage in various warehouse activities, including pulling merchandise from pick lists, transporting items from the sales floor to staging areas, utilizing handheld scanners for verifying merchandise counts and updating locations, and operating necessary equipment. This role includes being an Omni Experience Ambassador, working on all digital initiatives such as BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club.

  • Regularly clean and maintain storage bins in accordance with safety standards.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Efficiently process member purchases by pulling merchandise based on pick lists utilizing a handheld scanner.
  • Identify inventory or equipment issues and report expired or short-dated items.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage inventory replenishment effectively.
  • Ensure timely order picking to meet productivity requirements.
  • Follow operational procedures related to BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
  • Take responsibility for individual performance, collaborating with leadership when targets are unmet.
  • Package orders securely per standard operating procedures.
  • Keep the SFC area clean and organized, conducting general housekeeping tasks.
  • Manage returns and determine appropriate handling methods.
  • Adhere to all club policies, including dress code standards.
  • Meet OMNI productivity expectations and performance metrics.
  • Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities or work in other departments as needed.
  • Consistently maintain a reliable attendance record.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in order pulling preferred.
  • Experience in big box or wholesale retail preferred.
  • Prior experience using RF scanners preferred.

Job Conditions:

  • Constant movement over hard surfaces; ability to bend, climb, crawl, pull, reach, and stoop as needed.
  • Regular lifting of items up to 30 pounds; assistance may be needed for heavier objects.
  • Work environment usually comfortable but may involve exposure to loud machinery or temperature extremes for refrigerated orders.
  • Occasional exposure to approved cleaning agents may occur.

For transparency in compensation, the starting pay for this position is $16.50. Actual salaries may vary based on location, education, experience, and qualifications.
