You will be an Electronics Technician II, applying your comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems and maintain, repair, troubleshoot, modify, and install various types of electronic equipment and related devices. This position is in Crestview, FL. MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications: This work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. Technician must be proficient with using USAF Technical Orders, operating the Data Transfer and Diagnostic System (DTADS), with documenting AFTO 781 forms and entering data into the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS). Should possess experience fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses or a variety of electrical components, and equipment associated with aircraft systems functionality. This candidate must also have knowledge of HAXMAT/HAZWASTE, corrosion control, inspection/repair, maintenance inspection, aircraft launch and recovery, aircraft servicing, towing, and jack/shoring of aircraft. Three (3) years of C-130J flight line aircraft experience. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance therefore must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills: Six (6) years of experience on C-130 aircraft. Experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft avionics and electrical systems (GAC, Com/Nav, EW, Sensors. Electrician). Previously performed as 7-Level Aircraft Electronic/Avionics Technician C-130J EW Systems experience
