Job Description

Responsible for overseeing and approving Logistics strategies, decisions and flows for both Transportation and warehousing activities for NatureSweet. This position will manage logistics tasks and be responsible for leading and developing a group of associates to deliver to our customers, provide average industry service, reduce costs and increase company profitability.

Work Location:

This position will require you to be in office at NS San Antonio Headquarters 3 days a week; 2x remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on US Network Optimization by developing a strategy to ensure service in line with industry standards, minimize costs, improve freshness and reduce waste and aging.
• Build Powerful Partnerships, Carriers, 3PLs and Custom Brokers to meet continued growth YoY requirements to support our 2027 strategy ambition.
• Develop the necessary capabilities for Shipping, delivering and packing/repacking where necessary.
• Create efficiency in Reverse Logistics program for Pack Materials and Dedicated Backhaul revenue programs.
• Partner within Supply Chain and develop Logistics teams across the US network.
• Ensure compliance with Sustainability and Governance standards associated with their area, derived from the proposed goals or improvements associated with the company B certification.
• Deploy productivity and savings plans.

Minimum Requirements:

• 10-15 years of experience in Warehousing, Logistics, Customs, Freight Forwarding and Transportation services.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, logistics or a Related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient working knowledge of Sourcing Carrier Capacity; Truckload and Multi-Stop carrier network for refrigerated services.
• Experience with refrigerated LTL, multi-stop, and truckload services a must.
• TMS background and CTPAT compliance a plus.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
