Kinsa is recruiting for a: Director of Operations - Meat Location: Onsite in Philadelphia, PA Our client is a global supplier of the highest quality food products and services to distributors, manufacturers and supermarkets with a new opportunity for a Director of Operations to join their team. As the Director of Operations you will implement and manage strategies to increase efficiency, maintain quality, and ensure continuous improvement throughout the plant. Key Responsibilities:

• You will provide best-in-class product offerings and driving efficiencies in operations to be recognized in the industry as reliable, stable, and cost effective
• Drive high standards in operational efficiency, quality, and accuracy
• Provide overall leadership and direction to Operations management and staff
• Responsible for implementing and managing strategies to increase efficiency, maintain quality, and ensure continuous improvement
• Establish and achieve individual and departmental goals and budgets
• Responsible for ensuring the employees follow GMP and safety guidelines

Education & Experience Needed:

• 7+ years of plant experience in the meat industry or food processing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role required
• HACCP Certification knowledge
• A college or university degree is strongly desired or equal qualifications thru work history
• High standards in food safety, workplace safety, and sanitation
• Strong budget development and management skills
• Logistics experience is highly preferred to lead a growing department
