About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chair and Program Director for its Criminal Justice programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing visionary leadership and oversight of the Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts programs in Criminal Justice, including both in-person and online, general and forensic tracks. This full-time, tenure-eligible faculty role involves curriculum development, student advisement, in-person and online instruction, student recruitment and retention, assessment and evaluation, strategic planning, and budget management. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, a strong background in forensics, and a proven record of accomplishment in academia. Administrative or management experience, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Learning Management Systems, are also required. Applicants for the Chair and Program Director position at the company should possess the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work, meet schedules and timelines, and demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills. The role demands the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, excellent interpersonal skills, and the capacity to work in a sedentary environment with some physical demands. The position is open to candidates with a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related discipline, and ABD candidates may be considered.
