Position Title: Hydrovac Truck CDL Driver


Location: Pinson, AL
Schedule: Full-Time (Primarily Same-Day Routes, Occasional Overnight Trips)
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like


As a Hydrovac Truck CDL Driver , your day begins early with a thorough safety check and pre-trip inspection of your truck and equipment. After reviewing the day's job tickets, you'll travel to various job sites-such as construction areas, industrial facilities, and utility locations.


At each site, you'll work closely with your crew to safely expose underground utilities or clear debris using high-pressure water and a powerful vacuum system. Precision, safety, and attention to detail are critical to avoid damaging infrastructure.


Throughout the day, you'll:

• Operate the truck and hydrovac equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with DOT, environmental, and company safety regulations
• Complete proper documentation for each job
• Dispose of debris at approved facilities
• Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance

Your day typically concludes back at the yard with a final post-trip inspection and reporting-making sure the truck is ready for the next assignment.

Schedule & Compensation

• Status: Full-Time
• Pay: $25/hour
• Hours: Varies - primarily same-day routes (approximately 90%) with occasional overnight travel

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Valid CDL Class A or B with tanker endorsement
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no recent violations or accidents
• Knowledge of DOT and safety regulations
• Experience operating Hydrovac trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically capable of handling hoses, climbing, and working around excavation sites
• Ability to read and follow job tickets and detailed instructions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with crew and clients
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe and efficient operations
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed
• Able to pass drug/alcohol testing and background checks
• Mechanical aptitude for basic truck and equipment maintenance
