Assistant Property Manager to oversee daily operations at a multifamily community governed by LIHTC regulations. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a confident leader who understands affordable housing compliance, thrives in a resident-facing environment, and enjoys balancing operational excellence with team development.
Hours & Pay Pay Rate: $24-$26 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM (evenings and weekends as needed)
Employment Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire
What You'll Do - Oversee daily property operations to achieve occupancy, financial, and compliance goals
- Maintain accurate resident files, records, and LIHTC documentation
- Manage leasing activities, marketing efforts, renewals, and resident retention
- Ensure timely rent collection, deposits, accounts payable processing, and budget support
- Hire, train, schedule, and lead onsite staff while fostering a positive team culture
- Conduct routine property inspections and coordinate maintenance follow-up
- Enforce community policies in alignment with Fair Housing laws
- Manage vendor relationships, service requests, and emergency response needs
- Maintain clear, professional communication to support resident satisfaction

What You'll Need - 2+ years of onsite experience as a Leasing Consultant or Assistant Manager, or 3+ years of supervisory customer service experience
- Strong working knowledge of LIHTC compliance, Fair Housing regulations, and property operations
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit, stand, bend, reach, and stoop for 8-10 hour shifts
- Reliable transportation and consistent onsite availability
- CAM or ARM certification preferred
