Overview This is an active-duty position as an Air Force Reserve officer. Join to apply for the Aircraft Maintenance Specialist role at U.S. Air Force Reserve . When a plane goes down, we have systems in place to prevent our Airmen from going with it. Responsible for maintaining all necessary exit equipment on our planes, Aircrew Egress Systems specialists ensure that pilots can safely eject from aircraft in the event of an emergency. By performing precise maintenance and coordination of seats, hatches and canopies and modules, these professionals make sure that every component is in perfect working order so that Airmen can make a safe escape when necessary.
